Polymarket Eyes $10B Valuation in U.S. Debut Funding Round
Prediction platform Polymarket is gearing up for a pivotal funding round that could catapult its valuation to $10 billion. Investor appetite for blockchain-based platforms is surging, and Polymarket aims to capitalize on this momentum. The company's valuation is projected to land between $3 billion and $10 billion—a stark jump from its $1 billion valuation during its summer 2025 funding round.
The platform prepares to relaunch U.S. operations after a regulatory hiatus. In January 2022, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission charged Polymarket with offering unregistered binary options. Now, under revamped leadership—including the addition of Donald TRUMP Jr. to its board—the CFTC has greenlit its return. "We're ready to re-engage U.S. investors," founder Shayne Coplan declared on September 3.
